How we use and disclose collected information
We may use non-personally identifiable information to analyze aggregated site usage in order to improve the design and content of our website.
We use personally identifiable information you provide only to respond to your inquiries regarding Concrete and our services, if you choose to participate in our research, subscribe to one of our newsletters or events, or to fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
Any information gathered by us may be shared, if appropriate, with any of our offices, affiliates, and subsidiaries throughout the world. Personal information which users in the European Union provide to us may be transferred to other countries (including the United States). Changes to our policy
Concrete conducts research with people as part of our work. We may use recruitment agencies to find suitable research participants. Sometimes we contact potential research respondents directly, using publicly available information such as LinkedIn or company websites. We only continue to communicate with those people who express interest in participating in our research. Such people’s data will not be used for any other purpose.
If you agree to participate in research, the recruiter passes contact details (name, email, phone numbers) and any personal details required by the study to Concrete.
Concrete asks you to sign a consent form that explains the purpose of the research and the types of data being captured—for example, video or audio recordings. We collect this information to verify your consent to participate in the study, your acknowledgment of the study’s conditions, and your receipt of any incentive. We keep consent forms for up to 10 years to provide proof of your consent to participate in the research and to verify your identity should you request access to your data.
Concrete analyzes the data you share during the research. Your data will be anonymized to prevent further identification. We store any documents that link identifiable personal data to processed data in a secure location, kept separate from the work itself, and accessible only to specific employees and contractors. If at any time before, during, or after the research session you no longer wish to participate and would like your data to be removed from the study and Concrete’s archives, please notify us in person, contact the recruiter who initially contacted you, or email us at the following address:
Concrete sometimes uses third parties to help process the data collected, such as transcription and translation services. Data is transmitted using secure protocols and is never shared with further parties.
